To further strengthen our Service department, we are seeking a Country Service Manager who will be reporting technically to the Service Manager and administratively to the Country General Manager.
Your tasks
- Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating business contracts for the purchase and sale of materials and services, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies
- Manage a wide range of agreements, including NDAs, sales and purchasing contracts, subcontracts, consulting and licensing agreements, and distribution contracts
- Analyze bids and proposals and review customer terms and conditions
- Act as the main point of contact for contractual matters, managing negotiations and resolving variations with customers and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, and status tracking across all projects
- Provide guidance and training on contract practices to project managers and operational teams
- Develop and implement contract management procedures and monitor compliance across the organization
- Coordinate with Finance and Compliance on insurance, risk, and financial requirements, including pricing, revenue recognition, and export controls=
- Support Sales and Marketing with competitive and compliant contract terms and monitor market practices
- Ensure contract visibility across teams and oversee service level agreement compliance
- Strengthen customer relationships and resolve contractual issues effectively
Your profile
- Technical education in engineering, preferably in industrial refrigeration or mechanical engineering
- Minimum 10 years of managerial experience
- Experience in cost estimation and proposal development
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to contribute to sales of GEA products and services
- Knowledge of contracting concepts and contract acquisition regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proven track record in industrial refrigeration
- Technical understanding of ammonia, Freon, and CO2 compressors
- Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Experience in operational, customer-oriented environments, including service contracts
- Strong financial and analytical skills with a process-oriented approach
- Working knowledge of back-office processes to support customer satisfaction
- Ability to manage warranties and products\
- Willingness to travel frequently within the MENA region without visa restrictions
