To further strengthen our Procurement & Logistics department, we are seeking a Procurement Officer who will be technically reporting to the Procurement & Logistics Manager and administratively to the Country Area Manager.
Your tasks
- Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement of goods and services
- Analyze project and departmental needs to develop effective procurement and sourcing strategies
- Source, qualify, and manage supplier relationships, including negotiations on pricing, quality, and delivery
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure complete and accurate information flow
- Oversee the full procurement and logistics cycle, including shipments, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and delivery
- Support sales and operations with Incoterms, LC terms, and supply chain coordination
- Maintain control of purchases, contracts, inventory, assets, and store operations in line with company procedures
- Prepare specifications, manage RFQs, evaluate bids, and support contract awards
- Maintain vendor database and coordinate with Sales, Accounts, and internal stakeholders
- Prepare reports, analyze data, and support business planning, ERP implementation, and category management
- Added value experience (preferred)
- Manage export LC processes, including documentation, submission, bank negotiation, and payment coordination
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or a relevant certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably MS D365
- Ability to generate reports and prepare presentations
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret feasibility studies and market analysis
- Experience handling complex shipments by land, sea, and air, including full transportation coordination from origin to destination
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken
