To further strengthen our Procurement/ Logistics department, we are seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist who will be reporting to the Procurement & Logistics Manager.
Your tasks
- Provide and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in line with supply chain requirements
- Analyze purchasing needs and develop effective procurement plans
- Source, qualify, and manage supplier relationships
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure complete and accurate information
- Support sales with Incoterms, LC terms, and supply chain conditions
- Manage the full procurement cycle from request to delivery
- Coordinate shipments with forwarders, negotiate rates, and ensure timely delivery
- Support customs clearance, re-export activities, and client coordination
- Maintain control of company assets, tools, and store operations in line with procedures
- Prepare specifications, RFQs, evaluate bids, and support contract awards
- Track purchases, contracts, and supplier performance
- Conduct vendor negotiations for pricing, quality, and delivery
- Maintain vendor database and item master data
- Prepare reports, analyze data, and support business planning and performance tracking
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
- Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, and internal stakeholders
- Support ERP implementation, category management, and monthly spend analysis
- Prepare and manage export LC documentation and structuring
- Handle LC submission and negotiation with banks
- Report LC payments to the Accounts department
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or a relevant certification
- Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably MS D365
- Ability to generate reports and prepare presentations
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret feasibility and market studies
- Experience handling complex shipments by land, sea, and air, including full transportation coordination
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken
