To further strengthen our Operations department, we are seeking a Project Manager who will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager and administratively to the Country Area Manager.
Your tasks
- Able to read P&ID drawings
- Holds budget responsibility for assigned projects in the region
- Actively manage projects to improve results while maintaining quality and schedule
- Manage projects in the company AXAPTA system, issue invoices and variation orders in coordination with relevant departments
- Monitor turnover, profit, and budgeting for indirect costs within the project
- Closely follow up on project activities during construction and take initiative to monitor process improvements
- Monitor the technical quality of the project
- Approve purchase orders and project-related expenses under responsibility
- Manage project design and planning in coordination with the engineering department
- Manage project execution in coordination with site supervisors and/or subcontractors
- Maintain contact with suppliers and subcontractors in consultation with the Operations and Procurement department
- Produce high-quality written project reports
- Prepare project evaluation and cost reports and discuss with the Senior Project Manager and Operations Manager, communicating concerns in a clear and timely manner
- Provide detailed explanations for any deviations from budget
- Willingness to travel as required
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in refrigeration or a similar field
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong management, commercial, and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project (preferred)
- Strong awareness of site safety regulations
- Ability to lead a team of supervisors and technicians in the best interest of the project
- Familiarity with company work instructions and procedures
- Highly motivated and proactive mindset
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Provide clear instructions and direction to staff, both in the office and on site
- Collaborate with engineers, Project Managers, and Sales Engineers
